Silvia Taylor is the Executive Vice President, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Head of Novavax Sweden. In her Corporate Affairs capacity, Ms. Taylor oversees communications, government affairs and policy, corporate reputation and branding, and government contracting. And as the Head of Novavax Sweden, she is accountable for the operations of Novavax’s manufacturing and research & development site, driving execution of the Matrix adjuvant global strategy as part of the executive leadership team. 

With a career spanning over 25 years in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, she brings a wealth of experience in commercial operations, corporate affairs and investor relations to her leadership role. In addition, Ms. Taylor's diverse background includes executive communications, marketing blockbuster and specialty pharmaceuticals, product launches and capital raising, and she has held key positions in prominent biopharmaceutical firms such as Pfizer and MedImmune (now part of AstraZeneca).

Originally from Argentina, Ms. Taylor holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia. She serves on the Boards of Directors for the Maryland Technology Council and the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO).
