Driving the Advancement
of Cutting-edge Science & Technology

Novavax is part of a rich history of innovation to help prevent and treat disease, save lives and improve health. Decades of in-house research has led to the development of our proven proprietary technology platform that is leveraged in marketed products used by people around the globe.

Improving next generation medicines

Both our protein-based nanoparticles and Matrix-M® adjuvant are the basis of our promising pipeline programs and provide a strong foundation for innovation.
We are working with partners to explore the use of Matrix-M in their pipelines. We are also creating new innovative vaccine candidates with our Matrix-M and nanoparticle technology platforms to facilitate partnership discussions.

In addition, we are expanding the utility of our adjuvant technology by creating additional potential Matrix-based adjuvants including:

Adjuvants tailored to foster specific differentiated immune properties for new indications
Focus on infectious diseases where previous vaccine candidates have been insufficiently immunogenic
Potential to enable access into new disease areas and indications, including select areas within oncology

Our Pipeline

Expanding our efforts in infectious disease and beyond with differentiated programs in areas of unmet need.

Discovery Driven by AI & Machine Learning

We leverage a discovery model that is driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. This approach enables us to leverage our deep in-house expertise coupled with extensive published scientific literature and modern computational techniques to optimize our product candidates’ efficacy, safety and tolerability.
